Genuine Replacements For CamelBack Groove

These are genuine replacement packs for the filtering water bottle by Camelbak.
Each filter will last you approximately 3 months at 3-4 bottle-worths a day. If you are using dirtier water, the life will be shortened. Note, you may also drink hot water through this filter. But nothing other than water!
My tap water tastes fairly bad, so I run it through this filter and it tastes great. Keep in mind that this filter will not take out ALL harmful bacteria, so if you go out camping, keep that in mind while using this filter and continue to exercise caution when picking your water sources.
I recommend picking up this 6 pack, as it gives you the most for your money. 6 packs equates to 18 months of use.
Your water bottle is very durable-I’ve dropped it from a height of six feet full of water with only a small dent to show for it. This will definitely last the 18 months. (21 if you include the filter with the water bottle) Already, I have been saving tons of plastic by carrying this bottle around with me.
If you’re squeamish about getting this pack and the water bottle, consider this- the bottle comes with one filter for three month’s use. If you don’t like the bottle, it’s too late to return it anyways, so you can take the filter out and use the bottle by itself as a regular water bottle (for other liquids than water). If it turns out you love it, after two months come back here and pick up this six pack. See? Great solution!
UNRELATED NOTE: Make sure to wash your bite-valve in warm water and dishwasher soap and let it soak for 15-30 minutes every two weeks to prevent bacterial growth in the nozzle! The filter has anti-microbacterial agents, but the vite valve does NOT.

Great way to reduce plastic bottle trash

I was buying a case of water every week. That’s a lot of plastic bottles. I bought one of these at Dick’s Sporting Goods and have been very happy with it. I make much less trash without all those bottles, and now I can fill up anywhere and still have filtered water. It takes a lot of the yuck taste out of various waters. I’ve used it across the US with no problems. Order extra filters, because when they do stop working, you’ll immediately notice and they must be in short supply because they are difficult to located.
